Setting tile inside curbless showers can be daunting. So we updated the Video Library and added a new module entitled Tile Schluter Curbless Shower (Linear Drain Edition). All Video Library members will see from start to finish how to tile the shower pan, linear drain grate, full-length niche, and walls. Plus we added an LED light strip in the shower niche…this new module is fantastic and we’re excited to share it with you.
Heated curbless showers are great for cold bathrooms. The tricky part is knowing how to run the cable. We had our Schluter rep come out and help us with the DITRA-HEAT cable installation in a Schluter curbless shower that also had a linear drain. This tutorial is fantastic if you’re doing a similar project. We added this tutorial inside the Video Library under the Curbless Shower Systems section.

Penny tile floors are timeless and amazing. Installation begins with proper subfloor prep. For example, most uncoupling membranes like DITRA cannot be used with tiles smaller than 2″ x 2″.
