I am installing Ditra over the bathroom underlayment floor and have a Wedi shower pan/curb. I’ll use Kerdi band to bridge the recommended 1/4″gap. To water proof the joint between Wedi and Kerdi should I use Wedi sealant or Kerdi Fix? Does it matter?
You really could do either one, But thinset may be easier and is all thats really needed. As long as you have 2″ of overlap on the wedi pan, you will be good to go.
