Well, yes, but I didn’t know if there actually were other options with these types of surrounds (some kind of manufactured trim as a transition to tile or to drywall). Do you have any tips/videos for “installing drywall and finishing to the surround”?

Assuming that the supply lines are standard 1/2 in., you would just use 3/4 from the mixer valve to the shower head? Using 3/4 to the tub faucet would really fill that sucker up fast, huh?

Well, I really meant in the crevices that comprise the shelves in the surround and in the side walls of the tub; I wouldn’t even think about using it in place of mortar.
