Is there a standard size for the shower & vanity sink piping? I see these caps come in 1/2 & 3/8.
Yes, standard sizes are 1/2″ and 3/4″ for water supply lines.
If you want a more powerful stream of water in the shower, 3/4″ is better than 1/2″ and we recommend that if opting for body sprays.
Assuming that the supply lines are standard 1/2 in., you would just use 3/4 from the mixer valve to the shower head? Using 3/4 to the tub faucet would really fill that sucker up fast, huh?
